http://www.gpshipping.offices.net

its a fake one....they sent me a mail saying they
had a car ready for me from ireland..all they needed was a deposit,
i asked for the vin number...and found out that the car was for sale in
the us ....

That makes a difference.

This is a bit tougher. These scammers are getting smarter. They use very plain language in their pages (to avoid people like us using it to google to find there other phony sites), they are now using Sub-Domains.

I cannot do a WHOIS on gpshipping.offices2.net, but I can do one on just offices2.net ( http://escrow-fraud.com/whois.php?ip=offices2.net ) and I have found that the MAIN domain (never mind a subdomain) was created on March 29, 2006. Less than a month ago. So that means a sub-domain must also be no more than a month old.

That's pretty young for a company stating that they have been in business since 1993 (even if they were not on the net the whole time).

Although I don't (at the moment) have much more to go on than this, my gut instinct tells me that this is one to avoid. Both gpshipping.offices2.net AND offices2.net.
