Accurate Escrow Inc

Postby saralp » Mon Mar 07, 2011 9:46 pm

Has anybody heard anything about this Escrow company? I sold my watch on ebay and the buyer suggested this escrow site. I have not received any payments. Has anyone got any advice on what to do now?
Thanks

Sara, we're not sure of all the facts. The fact that you're searching here probably gives you an indication that fraud is involved. Did you ship the watch? What emails do you have from the "Escrow Company?" Does the escrow company have a web site?

Yes, I shipped the watch (Cartier), I had an email from the escrow company telling me payment had been made and they wanted my bank account details to send the payment. I had a couple of responses to emails when I asked for support. But not I cannot get in touch with them and it has been a week since they said they had received the watch.

1 - please post the email from the escrow co. (with your personal info removed) -- including the email address. I suggest clicking forward and copying the data from that window.
2 - Have you tried the phone number on the site? 801-409-5705
3 - The web domain accurate-corp.com was registered 2011-02-23. Not a good sign. :(
4 - putting a snippet of the text found in the website into Google yields http://bit.ly/hyBbTK
5 - I am sorry these guys took your watch. I fear you have been defrauded.

You need to file a police report ASAP. I'm sorry but you have been defrauded; there is no chance that this is a legit company.

Please compare to the entries under http://escrow-fraud.com/index.php?page= ... layout=222

most notably

http://escrow-fraud.com/index.php?page= ... rp.com.jpg
http://escrow-fraud.com/index.php?page= ... -e.com.jpg

It's very likely that this is the same scammer or group of scammers.
I'll add http://www.accurate-corp.com/ to our database right away.

You need to print out all the emails; and also make screenshots of the fake site because we will try to get it killed as quickly as possible.
