New Fraud Site?

Postby lorre_1 » Fri Nov 05, 2010 12:36 pm

Dear,

has anybody ever heard over a shipping company named "Transport Direct Europe". They have a site http://www.transport-direct-europe.com/ but this has only been registered 2 months ago while the company is already active since 2001. Also the site itself it to amateuristic and contains lots of spelling errors.

Reason for asking is that I was interested in buying an Alfa Romeo oldtimer from Gran Canaria and shipping it to Belgium. The price however is "to good to be true" so I am reluctant to pay a 50% deposit via Western Union.

I am putting all info below - in Italian however - but it seems comparable to some other posts I have came across on this site. Also the advertise has been removed from the internet.
Hope this may help it stopping it from operate.

Any other questions just let me know

Cheers,

Laurent

Hello,

it seems you already did some investigations yourself. Of course this "company" is not existing at all; just the web site. Which means you should under no circumstances pay any money!

I've added the site to our database. Please post a few more informations about the alleged "seller" (which is actually the scammer himself).

hallo friend, I tryed to buy a car from gran canaria, and the seller told me to contact this shipping company: European Courier Services
Tel: 0044-703-183-8967
Tel: 0044-703-185-5694
Tel: 0044-702-406-0360
Fax: 0044-135-470-0099
they ask me to pay in advance the 30% and the rest when the car will be by my adress but the day after the payment the asked me all the rest 'cause the custom wants the full payed bill, I told them that in Europe we haven't the custom for the goods, they answered me that we will see in the tribunal... I'm sure that I'will never see them and also my money. KEEP BEWARE
