She want use a escrow company. But I think the company strange. The seller sent me a passport scan but it's possible that is a fake, no ?

No, it's not a safe escrow company; it's a fake escrow "company" (actually it's only a web site; there is no company at all).

The actual content is located at http://amexcourier.0fees.net/

I've already added http://www.amex-couriers.tk/ to our database and sent a report. Hopefully it will be killed shortly.

I have exactly the same problem!!!
I am a french people and I wanted to buy an IMac 20" (on "le bon coin") to an english seller.
She wanted to use Amex Couriers Company and Western Union.
I sent 600 EUR by La Poste but it was hopefully cancelled because my bank doesn't authorize me to sent this ammount. However, on Western Union, it is written that the ammount was sent and that the seller has received the 600 EUR. [EDIT] She sents me an e-mail that she doesn't have the money and that I have to pay her. [EDIT]
Moreover, I wanted to stop the transaction but she told me that she paid 87 EUR for the insurance so if I don't pay, she will call her lawyer.
I am going to my bank this afternoon in order to totally stop the transaction, I hope it will be possible or I loose 600 EUR :s [EDIT] I think I will not loose it. [EDIT]
But, are you really sure that it is fake?
I dont know what to do...

Yes, absolutely.

You need to stop the (money) transaction by all means. Don't worry about the "call her lawyer" stuff - she (or he) is not selling anything and is not located in the UK. "She" (the "seller") is probably sitting in some Internet cafe in Romania.

What we need to know is the Internet address of "Amex Couriers" if you have been given it already. Then we can put the site in our database and hopefully kill it quickly (as we did with the last variant).

Sent a report; from my previous experiences the site should be history in a few hours. Strike that - it's already gone-.

Given the fact that our database now contains nearly 11000 fake sites... you better believe it. You don't need to show an ID to register a domain. Most of the fake sites use certain templates over and over (some templates have been used hundreds of times). For this particular template we have over 40 entries so far.

You can file a police report. But keeping in mind that this is international crime the success rates are not too high (to be fair: over the years we have seen a number of arrests).

Just ignore "her". Now that this site is gone "she" probably knows that you will suspect something is wrong.

I still didn`t received an answer from you.. I have sent you several e-mails and no response. I can`t belive that you try to scam me.. I trusted you and i have sent the package and now you don`t pay and you don`t answer me. I have paid the shipping taxes 87,00 EUR so please just send me my money back if you don`t want to purcahse the product. I hope you will respond me and you will be a honest person because i work very hard for my money and i don`t want to be scammed.

thanks for the additional information. And don't worry about your postings here: As long as you get the information across to us everything is ok.

As I said: The fake site is suspended; and if you got your money back you could call this one "case closed". If the "seller" still tries to contact you just ignore it.

My wife have the same seller for a camera where we saw in 'leboncoin.fr'.
She 'dun heather' wants to use an escrow service or 'escroc (crook) service' as we can say in french.
When we said her that we have a friend who can pick up the camera and pay her hand to hand (to test her), she said that she is in business trip, not lucky we are...
