I just found another one on cragislist.... here is the email address they are using:

ellenstone.stone75@gmail.com

here is the bulls#!t story they are giving:

Hello!

This car engine runs very, very smooth... No damages, no scratches or dents, no hidden defects, never been involved in accidents.
This 2003 Gmc Yukon Denali XL AW has 80,702 milles and Engine size: 8 Cylinder.
It's in an exceptional shape. This is a very reliable vehicle that has never given me any problems. A great car that will not disappoint. I just moved to Montana, Helena because my wife is from here and she wanted to be closer to his parents as they are old and very ill.Besides, there are lot of things which have priority now, so, this car has to go. We are expecting a baby in a few weeks and I really want to improve the old house we bought when we moved in time for the baby. The car is ready for the shipping in the shipping company warehouse. As you probably noticed, the price is $
4,400 for you if you will buy it today or tomorrow.Due to the fact I am very busy with my work and I don't stay too much at home, the car is already to the shipping company and will be delivered from there very fast, shipping cost is included in price. The transaction will be made undere eBay Vehicle Purchase Protection for our safety. So, please reply back with your full name , shipping address if you are really interested in purchasing this car so we can start the arrangements !

All these people claim to use ebay.... but that is a lie!!!!!!!

Don't give them your money.... do alot of research...!

Yes, it's a scam.

Once you would have sent the money by Western Union somebody in the UK would pick it up, using a fake passport.

The scan of the passport the scammer sent you is of course fake as well. Some time ago I was sent similar scans as well - ironically those scans showed the same passport with different names.

The sammer is most likely from Romania or Eastern Europe in general.

The fake site belongs to this "family":

http://escrow-fraud.com/index.php?page= ... &layout=27

As you can see this particular layout/design has been used over 400 times already; it's one of the most used designs for those fake sites ever.

The car doesn't exist at all; the data and pictures were most likely pulled from an older (and at the time legit) ad. I guess it's clear by now that you should not send the money, right?

Please post the email address of the scammer and how you came across the car. If the ad is still active please post the link to it
