World Global Express..is it a fraud, is it legitimate?

Postby John Dell » Tue Aug 23, 2005 5:11 am

I am in the process of possibly buying an automobile. It is in a foreign country, Slovakia. To be shipped to the United States. The price of the automobile for it's true value is very low..about 1/3 it's true value. The seller wishes I send one half via western union to World Global Escrow..they will accept the automobile, keep it and check it out and send it to me, when I'm supposed then to send the other half of themoney if I approve of the auto as represented.

Is there a world Global Express, thathas escrow services and world wide shipping of automobiles...clear across the ocean? The seller has agreed to pay FOR ALL SHIPPING AND INSURANCE..it seems that this would cost a fortune!..maybe even more than the asking price of the car?...can you help me on this?...

KEEP ATTENTION:

-- DON'T SEND MONEY VIA WESTERN UNION !! --

NEVER !

YOU CAN DO IT, - ONLY - IF YOU TRUST AND KNOW - AS A BROTHER - THE PERSON RECEIVING THE MONEY.

-- WESTERN UNION IS NOT A TRACEABLE PAYMENT WAY --

THE REAL LEGITIMATE ESCROW SERVICE DON'T ASK YOU PAYMENT VIA WESTERN UNION.

KEEP ATTENTION

I followed the instructions for detecting fraud..all indications are, it is fraudulent..there is no World Global Express...shown on Register.com, in Whois...section at all...there are no sites listed on the net for searching, there are no home offices listed or phone numbers.. many of the "lines in the letters to me are similar to what the sites say fraud/sacammers use, such as "Send Western Union only"...and "I have used this escrow service several times and it was always very successful for both parties"...I do not believe the escrow service exists...I have chosen to drop the deal complete..I've sent no money, gave no credit or banking information at all..only my name. But I am reporting it to the cars-on-line website today. thank you.

It's a fraud

Worls Global Express is a fraud. I was searching for an old car. Found one in the USA, at a real cheap price, about 1/3 of normal cost. What a deal... The owner (is supposed wife), anwser at my question about the car. She invent a story that the car was the one of is dead husband. He was serving in the US army and she is try to sell the car. She talked about World Global Express. I check the site and wow! it seems very professionnal. About some mail, I received an invoice for the car!!! Never said that I want it, just asking some questions. World Global Express asked me to send money via Western Union...

SO BEWARE OF THEM, AND BEWARE OF CARMEN MARLOV OF SLOVAKIA, IT SEEMS TO BE A FRAUD.

After some research over the net, a found your site, and some escrow site that talk about this kind of fraud!

The adress of the contact was:

Carmen Marlov
Fadrom #97 Street
Bratislava
SK 477 43
Slovakia

Is email: torancesy@hotmail.com

The escrow site: http://www.wgexpress.com (remarq there is no phone number!) and try the chat with us option, they talk slovake!

They simply post ads on antique cars site. They price are always very low, so you take info. Maybe they fake ad site too.

This some of the site the ads apears:

http://www.classiccars.net/classinfo.ht ... lassiccars

http://www.mustangv8.com/muscle-cars-cl ... ala++SS+40

http://www.sellmycar.com/73965.htm

I'M NOT telling those sites are fake, but for the first one I contact the administrator, explain the situation and ask to remove the ads and since they do absolutely nothing...

Thanks.
