As I looked into this one, the first thing I noticed is that the site is iSafeTrader.com but comes up with MotorEscrow.Com. Both sites are Identic al.

I checked the WHOIS info on both sites and they are both registered to the same person. This actually would provide some credibility if they were mirroring sites (Many big corporations do it). Nonetheless, I am a bit discouraged that they are registered to a guy in China.

Now I look at the creation date.. Just over 2 months ago. That doesn't comfort me that much, however, again, it could be a New business starting out.

So as I look at the sites and check even deeper. Those logos are a dead give-away of a fraud site. Verisign logos, when clicked are to take you to Verisign's website, but this is not the case with these 2 sites. They use Javascript to Hide the true info about the page but it's still just a regular page that can be gotten to by going to
http://motorescrow.com/VERISIGN/verisign_info.htm and
http://isafetrader.com/VERISIGN/verisign_info.htm

In fact, the page itself tells you Make sure that the URL of this page begins with "https://seal.verisign.com" Which again, they mask with the javascript. If you navigate DIRECTLY to the pages (from above) you will see that obviously they do NOT start with https://seal.verisign.com

Same thing with the TRUSTe logo. They mask the true location by using javascript, but you can naviagate directly to the page by going to
http://motorescrow.com/TRUSTE/truste_info.htm and
http://isafetrader.com/TRUSTE/truste_info.htm

I could look more but I have wasted enough time on these 2 sites. In my mind I believe them BOTH to be FRAUD

Yup......you're right.
I reported both the sites to the web host and Verisign.
There is also a post on the eBay message boards about these sites.
Obviously the Chinese hosting companies are in dire need of an education on these scam sites.
They don't even bother to respond. :?
