GPS Canada Postes. Is it fraud ?? Urgent

I have a doubt about a site. It's the GPS Canada Postes.

I really need help.
They send me a mail which said that i need to do another payment :


Dear Customer,

We are sorry to inform you but there is a problem with the delivery . We will explain the problem to you and we hope you will understand and help us solve this as soon as possible so you can receive your package. The problem is that at our office in Thunder Bay when the package was inspected by the people there the package got mixed up and now insted of 1 x Apple Iphone 16GB 3G, your package contains 5 x Apple Iphone 16GB 3G. The problem is that now the package is blocked because the value off the package dose not correspond to the real value. We have two options on how to fix this problem:

1) The deal is canceled, the package is brought back to the seller and your money will be refunded. The problem is that this proccess takes 24 days until all the papers are compleated.

2) You accept the package as it is with the 5 Apple Iphone 16GB 3G, you make a new payment of 500$ and the package is released and you will receive the 5 Apple Iphone 16GB 3G, you will be able to keep all 5 Apple Iphone 16GB 3G or keep only 1 that you already paid for and receive the 500$ that you paid back. It is your choice if you keep all 5 or only 1.

We suggest the second choice because it is faster and you will be able to receive the package in 9 hours maximum after the new payment is made.

We have informed the seller about this problem too so now it is your decision , we are sorry about this problem and we hope you will understand that we are doing all we can to fix this problem but we need your help too.

yes, this is a fraudulent site. This company doesn't exist; it's all done from some cybercafe in romania.

I'm afraid if you already paid you'll not see this money again if it was sent by Western Union or some similar transfer service.

You need to file a complaint with the police immediately, we can try to take care of the site tomorrow. Make printouts of everything.

And in case you're wondering: Right now the scammers are just trying to get more money from you. They figure that since you already paid once it might work again.

Once more: There is no company, there is no iPhone. The layout is one of the most overused layouts:

I have seen dozens if not hundreds of sites with this layout. The actual site is hosted at http://gpscanadapost24h.freehostia.com/

You will have to file your complaint with your local police station or specifically with their cybercrime unit (if one exists). Make sure to mention that this is an ongoing scam originating most likely from Romania. This is organized crime.

And a few more details would be nice, like which site was used (because the site from the first posting in this thread is not working).

Hey guys, Thank god i found this. Was about to make a payment tomm. Then i realized this whole thing and process is fishy. As i couldnt find the canada gps postes site. Then i checked everything and came to this. So i found the ad on kijiji saying i would get a 16 gb 3g phone fully unlocked. They are located in winnipeg or something and they wud ship to me here in ontario for only 10 bucks. This is unbelievable, a small price. I checked once i recieved the invoice. The e-mail i kept in contact with the person was punebanii1@yahoo.ca. Name being Sarah Foster. The same gps postes site was used as well. Please report these people.

So I asked how the weather was in Romania. They respond saying "google it" . then i said it would be easy for you would it not since u live there. I said I would report them. Their response is "o no please dont do that..." So i respond saying fine i wont, I just want 25% of your profits earned. lol. This person is obviously a huge fraud.

Thanks for the mail address and name used. Which web site is used now? http://www.canadapostes.ca.tp/ from the first posting of this thread has been dead for some time now. We need to know the current "incarnation" so we can kill it as quickly as possible to limit the damage.
