Loudspeaker Fraud London/UK

Postby wm_de » Wed Jun 18, 2008 7:47 pm

Hi,
I saw an advertisement in Germany for used high end Thiel SCS 3 loudspeakers in the web. They were announced in Berlin/Germany. The reply came from London/UK. He asked for $ 850 and wanted to send the boxes after receiving the amount by Western Union.
The shipping company was named:
Trans-International Express Delivery:
http://www.cargostrans.ulmb.com
I sent the money and did not see any loudspeaker.
Regards
WM

Hi.
Thanks for the advices.

I bought the not delivered high end Thiel loudspeakers SCS 3 online from a guy with email address: danigigo@yahoo.de. He offered them in a regional web marketplace and gave the option to inspect the boxes in Berlin. in the response mail he declared to be transfered to London because of a divorce. I paid the amount of $ 850 without knowing this person, because he offered the possibility to leave the merchandise into Trans-International Express Delivery, Inc. custody, pay the amount to this third party via Western Union, inspect the merchandise for five days after delivery and give a feedback to the Trans-International Express Delivery, Inc. to pay the money to the seller. The status of the process was offered to be tracked by viewing a website: "http://www.cargostrans.ulmb.com" by giving the input of the transaction ID, in this case: "http://www.cargostrans.ulmb.com/1JU06119628M1 result.php"
When I visited this website after some days, a fraud warning appeared on this site.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to present such an example of escrow fraud in the internet.

Tja, hinterher ist man immer schlauer...
Die Seite ist bei uns gelistet
in db: http://escrow-fraud.com/fraud_data.php?id=6738 und zwar seit 4. Juni.
Zwischenzeitlich wurde sie "gekillt", von Faudhuntern, und zwar am 16.Juni.

Und zukünftig: man verschickt kein Geld über Western Union an fremde Menschen...

Hi,

I'm from Germany and I saw an Engl guitar Amplifier in a forum in Germany to be sold. I contacted the guy and he said he is in London at the moment and his wife is in Germany.

Here the Email :

Look I lived in Germany for 1 year with my wife . Now I am in divorce with her and this is why I moved back to England .
Because I am quite busy I found out a company which will help me to sell the item easily .
They will handle shipping , payment and everything else .
The shipping taxes are included in the final price.
You will have 5 days for inspect the item. Now everything is set .Right now i`ll go and start the shipping .
Sorry but I don`t have other pictures with my item .

Then I got a Transaction from the same company called: Trans-International cargoship company from London.(http://www.cargoship.ulmb.com/)

There was no name in the Email and there was also no phone or fax number to call on the homepage. They asked me to send money via Western Union Bank. Then I waked up. I have already had a fake at Ebay.com several years ago where a seller asked me to send money via Western Union for a guitar. I tried to find the company via Google or Yahoo. No result. The homepage was not working correctly, but it was designed very well. So someone has taken hours of time in that homepage to fake some customer !

I havn't transfered the money yet and for sure I will not.

Good luck to everybody. Put the shipment company on the black list !
