I believe I was just targeted by a false escrow service calling themselves "Global Weight Cargo" with a web address of http://www.gw-cargo.com. After searching the whois section, it appears that http://www.Superfast-Global.com has now become gw-cargo.com.

I responded to an ad on Auto Trader.com for a 2002 Mini S that was advertised for $9400 and with only 8500 miles. This is about $4000 under book value. After numerous emails about the car and asking about the shipping company, they recommended gw-cargo.com and to use Moneygram for the transfer. They offered to pay all shipping and insurance costs as well. All emails contained poor grammar, but did answer most of my questions, even providing specific pictures I asked for.

Thank so much,
pgrove

I think that I have also been scammed by this same person under the name of http://www.gw-cargo.com. I answered an ad in Cycle Trader for a motorcycle only to have the item "shipped" and never to arrive, all the while being reassured again and again that everything is ok and it is on the way. However, I have a different email address for this person.

If you would like to discuss further please feel free to contact me.

Yeah I was scammed, after making the first payment of $1900.00 to "Tony McManus" via MoneyGram. I have allll his information, I have the exact Wal-Mart the money was picked up at. But I need to get my money back. I was trying to buy a 2005 GSXR 750 from Cycle Trader. Anyone help? I think I shuold contact FBI but I doubt theyd really care if they only hear from one person. Please let me know if any of you guys have an idea or got your money back. Thanks, I need the help.

The experience is like that: If you sent money via Western Union or MoneyGram, is it lost…away..
The gangsters uses falsified documents of identification.

But I mean if I have the "name" of the guy, the date, time, exact location where its picked up, its through cycle trader, I have multiple SNs of the guy(s), it shouldnt be that hard for the FBI to find this guy. I mean if we could find Osama... then there really shouldnt be a problem. Its just a matter of whether people actually report this problem, like me. I mean its not hard to trace an IP back to someones computer... really... find the address of the user(s) etc...
