sorry for the spam there, but what do you guys think, its pretty new and it says 17 years of service but im not too convinced

Further edit, i have the sellers name address ect ect but none of its checking out on the white pages im just thinkin their not updated and hes currently "out of town" to another coutnry for buisness

Hey,

I found a listing for a motorcycle which I intended to buy, so I sent him an Email at sean.davis32@live.com
He responded with the name JAMES DAVIS and gave me the link to http://www.gmb-division.com and told me I should sign up for their service. So I signed up and after looking through the website I started to get suspicious about the site. I looked for the phone number of the website's customer service but could not find it anywhere, so I sent them an Email. It took a very long time for their response and the seller actually answered before the customer service did, with exact responses to my questions. Also, whenever I finally received an answer from "GMB division customer service" I noticed some misspellings which seems unusual for a customer service. And there was no name of the representative who answered my questions.
The seller had also told me that he was out of town for business (London, UK) and he wanted me to send the money via Western Union, and he gave me a different name to which I should make the payment to - here is the info he gave me:

Country: United Kingdom

I put the Email address he wrote me from in Google search and it gave me the same ad in a lot of different motorcycle websites. Some of the ads said the bike was located in different locations. All this happened to me today and he is still waiting for me to wire the money.

Should I do something? What can I do? Should I just forget about it?

Well, certainly you should cut of contact as this person is definitely trying to scam you. You can also consider filing a report with the IC3 (http://www.ic3.gov)

If you really want PROOF that they are a scam, then ask to use an escrow service that YOU trust (A list of several legit services are at http://www.escrow-fraud.com/legit-escrow.html ) You will find that they will probably insist on how safe and reliable THEIR choice of service is and how they have been using them for years.

Any way, the safest thing is to just walk away and know that you didn't lose your money.
