Brillnet trading group need help

All the online forums said this was legit but I think I have been scammed and they are now on your list. As of 10th August.
My mother has paid them £2200 and I don't know what to do.

Can any one advise me?

Yes, you have been scammed. The site was the latest one in a long string of identical fake sites (all with different names).
The forums you saw were also all fake and operated by the same scammer. Actually they are not even forums but just single sites mimicking other legit forums.

You need to file a police report; and the police needs to be aware of this being an ongoing fraud. I'm abroad right now; once I return I can provide you with an (incomplete) list of the domains/sites used by the scammer since late 2015.

And please post a few more details (what kind of transaction, bank details - if known, name and email address used by the scammer and so on).

I missed your reply but at least have seen it now. It has been reported and the met police are investigating. Would it help to send you details too? They have not had any success with the ip addresses but are looking at the bank account now. They have advise that I could approach the findvial ombudsmen which I will do.
