i was about to buy a laptop computer using http://www.fastandsecur.3x.ro as an escrow service but since the price i was going to pay sounded to good to be true, i looked a little closer at the website. it claims to be an "accredited escrow company" but i cant even find them in a search engine. check it out and let me know what you think

First of all I would refer you to http://forum.pgardner.net/viewtopic.php?t=118 as one of our other users had an experience with this alleged Escrow Site.

Next... They are using http://3x.ro which is a FREE web hosting company. Not that a company could not use such a thing, however, I would think for reliability, one would choose a bit more reliable one.

The speed at which the page loads also makes me wonder.

Finally the fact that you can not check the WHOIS info on FASTANDSECURE.3X.RO
I was able to find info on 3x.ro but they are apparently a legit webhost provider. ( http://whois.rotld.ro/cgi-bin/whois?whois=3x.ro ).

Either way... I would be very wary about using http://fastandsecure.3x.ro
