As you can see this was registered THROUGH Yahoo!. That is a big flag for me. MANY of these types of scams use these types of services because it's harder to trace.

Any way notice the CREATION DATE :
Creation Date........ 2004-11-20
The date I am responding to this is December 16th, 2004. That means this site was registered LESS than ONE MONTH ago. Here is another FLAG!!

Then there are ALL those LOGO'S which are meant to make you think they are legit.... Guess what, All they do is point to those sites. I can put them on mine.... They are meaningless (accept as free advertising for those sites.) There is an exception.... The TRUSTe Logo. This one is meant to show you TRUST particularly with a privacy policy. Well as it would have it ALLSTATE-SOLUTIONS.COM is NOT a member. Just check TRUSTe's site.. Go to http://www.truste.org/about/member_list.php#A and the ONLY allstates you will find there (at time of Post) are allstate.com allstateforms.com . So I guess that's another FLAG.

As I poked around this site, I noticed they have a Warning to look out for Fraudsters? ( ) This is to funny since they indeed are just that....

How Do I Know? If you go to their BEWARE ON-LINE FRAUD page you find the following:

http://allstate-solutions.com/index.php?show=fraud wrote: Allstate-solutions.com >>> BEWARE ON-LINE FRAUD

There are a growing number of fraudulent escrow services that steal money, merchandise, and identities from unsuspecting consumers. The existence of such sites also undermines the reputation of Allstate-solutions.com's legitimate escrow service.

How to Spot a Fraud Site
We encourage you to always use Allstate-solutions.com to protect your online transactions. Fraudsters often use a variety of excuses for why they cannot use Allstate-solutions.com. If you do choose to use a different escrow service, the following points may help keep you from becoming a victim:

* Fraud sites often claim they are recommended by eBay, eBay Motors, or Yahoo! Auctions. You may see the list of sites eBay actually recommends by clicking here < -- which points to http://www.ebay.com
* If a site looks similar to Allstate-solutions.com, it is likely fraudulent. A legitimate company will spend the time and effort to create their own brand and will not steal the work of other companies.
* Be wary of sites that have escrow fees that are unreasonably low. It is unlikely that a site that charges as little as $2.00, for example, can legitimately perform these services and still stay in business.
* Spelling errors, grammar problems, broken links, and inconsistent information (such as the location of the escrow company) are usually additional indicators the site is fraudulent.

What should I do if someone asks me to use a fraudulent escrow site?
In this case you should do the following:

* Report the site and the person that recommended the site.
* Determine your exposure to identity theft if you have provided any personal or financial information to the person recommending the fraud site.

How can I protect my identity if I have registered with a fraudulent escrow site?

* If you have provided any personal or financial information to a fraudulent escrow site or to the person recommending the site, you must consider how such information could be illegally used. You must immediatly fill a complain to The FBI and NW3C?s Internet Fraud Complaint Center.

The Link (Pointed out above) should actually point too ---> http://pages.ebay.com/help/community/escrow.html which if you scroll to the bottom, you will see that ALLSTATE-SOLUTIONS is NOT reccommended by eBay.

I could go on... but suffice it to say that this one is Most Definitely a Image .
I have added it's layout to my list of Fraudulant layouts (This is the first time I have seen it's design). They can be seen at http://escrow-fraud.pgardner.net/images.php (very graphic intensive)
