Is http://www.placepayments.com I legit site I got an offer to buy a drum set that is a really good deal, and he wanted to use this site. There is no information when I tried to google the site and the WHOIS information sayed it was just created this month.
I've been scammed before and don't want to again.

It WAS a scam forwarding URL.
The scammers are still running:
http://placepayments.netfirms.com/
Netfirms refuses to remove the domain without police or court action.
Report the person that sent you there.
