So sad, too bad. Thought I was wiser than that, but I've been taken. Sold a diamond ring on Ebay. Looked like they paid the escrow service; then I sent the ring. Looks like I've been had.

Any advice on how to get the scoundrels.

How long has it been? Check with the shipper to see if they offer any protection or can get the item (if it has not been delivered. )

If they can, there may be a fee, but whatever the fee is, I am sure it's worth it.

Also you should file a report with your local law enforcement. It may seem like a meaningless task, since the crime is likely international, but at least the statistics for this sort of crime will increase and maybe law makers around the world will stand up and take notice (eventually).
