What about www.ltdshipping.com from auto shipping limited ?

Postby Aukje » Thu Feb 18, 2010 8:40 am

Hello,

Can someone help me with this one ?
I live in the Netherlands and contacted a car seller who sells a german car that is currently in UK.
He worked in Germany but had to go back to UK. Car can not be sold in UK due to the fact that the steering wheel is on the left side of the car.
total price of the car is 10K. By using Escrow I yesterday paid 1000 euro via wetern union transfer as a guarantee, though they are now comming back to me with another payment of 1000 euro as they say following European Union legislation 20% of the amount needs to be paid.

Enclosed some email conversation:

Dear Customer,

We have a lot of transacitions to resolve and not only your. All papers and all
documents are in export authorities possesion.
Please understand that the car is not stolen or something wrong, we inspect it
before take it.We can't lose time and money.
Complete second payment a soon as possible and contact us with the transfer details
so we can deliver you the car.
After that , if you find something wrong, we will retunr your deposit payment of
20%, but will not be the case, the car is in the best condition.

Thank You

Hello,

Why wasn't this told me yesterday ?
You had all details already back then.
Please send me the European Union legislation that I will have to pay 20%
instead of 10%, How do they check what the exact agreed amount is between
seller and buyer ? Also send me the car license plate number and the
chassisnumber. I have all reasons now to be suspicous and want to do some
extra checks. This is about a lot of money and we want to have a honest
deal with the seller.

Thanks in advance,
Aukje

It's fake; don't send any additional money. The first 1000 EUR are already gone, I fear. Go to the police and file a report with them; make sure to tell them this is organized crime operating from Eastern Europe.

The domain http://ltdshipping.com was created just two days ago; it is the newest "incarnation" of the following domains:

http://shippingltd.auto.officelive.com
database: http://escrow-fraud.com/index.php?page= ... a&id=10015

http://shippinguk.auto.officelive.com
database: http://escrow-fraud.com/index.php?page= ... a&id=10007

http://ukshipping.auto.officelive.com
database: http://escrow-fraud.com/index.php?page= ... ta&id=9998

Everything is quite typical: If the victim already paid once they try to get more money from him. The "seller" is not in or from the UK, he's most likely from Romania. The car doesn't exist.

I'll try to have the site killed later today; make printouts of everything first.
