Postby Agomes » Sat Jul 18, 2009 11:38 pm

Hi people
I m from Portugal and I ve been frauded by this site: http://www.wfdshipping.co.cc/ in April this year!
I was to buy a used caravan at 1/3 of his price, and I ve fall into the trap...

Now I found this forum and I want to share my story!

I my web search to get a used caravan, I ve found a announcement that was just great, a almost new caravan at 1/3 used price value!!! Wau... that s for me, I ve think.
Well, the result can t be good, as you can imagine!

Ok, the end of story was the previsible, I ve send 1000 euro by Western Union, and never get the merchandise or money back...
I ve made a explanation to the Portuguese authorities, and the result was that this is a very common fraud and it is almost impossible to get the fraud people.

But, and there is always a but, I m not satisfied!
I want to know more about this, and I ve seen somewhere in this forum that this kind of fraud come from Romania!

Can someone help me found more about this guys?

The Seller was: Heiko Bachman, bac.heiko@gmail.com ,Of course that this is a false name and address
Address, Friedrich-Ebert-Str. 2
City, Kassel
Country, Germany
Postal code, 34117
E-Mail, bac.heiko@gmail.com

The guy I ve sent the Money by Western Union is, David Esteban (This one must exist, I think, because someone must show a ID to get the Money, isn t it?)
Address, Forest Road
City, Feltham, Middlesex
Postal Code, TW13 7DY
Country, United Kingdom
And the web site, already marked as fraud, and already doesn t exist is:

Yes it was Romanians.
Yes it is a common scam.

The scammers ask their victims to send via Western Union and MoneyGram to the UK because the UK police don't investigate.
The ID used to pick up the money transfers are always fake using stolen identification.

Did Western Union warn you not to send the money using their service?
Probably not because they get their money from you and don't care.

You have to look into the reasons you sent the money.
Greed?
Stupidity?

I ve think about doing this business several times before send the money, believe me, the only thing that has made me go was the certificate by VerySign, that to me apears to be valid!
It apears to be a legitim certificate, also the adress at the certificate (That I havn t keep, unfortunably,)seems to point to VeriSign website!
I think that it is a very elaborated job (website, post in car selling web, false mail acount, etc etc)to only get 1000 euro, is it too much work to so litle profit (Unfortunely it was my money / their profit).
