The person saw a timepiece I had on ebay and said he wishes to buy it but because fo the cost he wanted to use an escrow service.
I looked over the website and communicated , via email, with one of the reps so everything looked ok.
Now , over a week after the transaction I can get no reply to my emails and the phone number does not work.
Also, the buyer is no longer replying to my emails.

Unfortunately it was indeed a fake site (as you can see it's no longer working). This is what I call "reverse fake escrow" because it targets sellers (mostly of expensive watches and jewelry) while the typical fake escrow sites target buyers.

There isn't much to do now other than filing a report with the police.

Unfortunately there is little to "resolve" when things have gotten this far. Those are professional criminals.

Please post a bit more information; especially the address of the web site (if it was a different one).
