I sent my laptop to this guy believeing that goldpouch was a legit escrow company, I have filed online complaint and emailed the italian police but no response. I however did some research of my own and found out that the address he gave belongs to a western union agency in viterbo,Italy, their website is (http://www.westernunion-viterbo.it/INFO.htm) I have tried calling them, but because i dont speak italian and they very little english it has been hard to communicate with them. I would very much appreciate any help in this matter, if anyone could give me a call for me and ask them to hold or send my laptop to me at my expense etc.

If I were you I'd call western union and go up as high as you can and complain to the top people.
Make sure they know that you didn't wire money, but that THEIR Western Union outlet in Italy is working with international fraud criminals and is
accepting stolen merchandise at their business location.

Also start filing complaints with these places.

I contacted western union and stil havent heard from them
I have also filed a report with my local police department and email the Canadian embassy in Rome, and file complaints online. I still in help in contacting this western union in italy to see if they have recieved my package. The my local police deparment said that there is littel they can do, due to the fact its an international affair. and that they may be able to contact the italian authories. Would very much appreaciate any more help i can get in recieveing my laptop back. Any other suggestions.
