Scamer's E-Mail

Postby fantlv » Tue Feb 16, 2010 10:03 pm

I was trying to buy a car using http://www.mobile.de. There was a fake dealer's offer with the e-mail written on the photo of a car. Also there was a note, asking to request car information using e-mail.
Gangster's e-mails:
cars475@gmail.com - initial e-mail on mobile.de
david.bennett1@hotmail.com - e-mail used for further contact when I showed interest in the car.
In my case it haven't come to escrow internet site, thanks to this Forum. The guy just sent me e-mail asking to transfer the first part of money by Western Union on my own name in Germany and meet him there.
The text of his letter was almost the same as you can find in other posts on this forum - "I'm in England, selling my car in Germany etc".
BTW, they moved this offer from mobeli.de to www.autoscout24.de - the same car, the same photo, same price and e-mail.

One more of those guys - most recent (appeared just yesterday) from http://www.autoscaut24.de: mobile543@gmail.com. Posted under some dealer's hacked account.

Here the typical text in such fraud offers:

DO NOT CONTACT ME THROUGH MOBILE ONLY THE PHOTO EMAIL !!! FOR MORE DETAILS OR TO BUY THE CAR, PLEASE CONTACT ONLY THE PHOTO EMAIL !!!
