hELLO EVERYBODY,
i was wondering if this website is safe or not?
Have you ever tried it?
Because a person wants to use this website after an ebay transaction, and i want to know if it's a good idea or an escrow...
Thanks a lot

This one IS a legit site. Although searching the web will give you mixed results (which is actually probably a GOOD thing).

The site is one of the (few) recommended sites by ebay http://pages.ebay.com/help/community/escrow.html .

Just a note about the frauders though. DO NOT click on links provided by third party emails. These are another method of scamming you. They can hide the real site in a URL and unless you are careful about it, you could get caught.

Instead, type the URL DIRECTLY in the Address bar of your browser. Also be VERY CAREFUL of ANY site that choses to HIDE the URL by hiding the ADDRESS BAR by means of javascript or popup windows. DO NOT Trust an address because it is in the TITLE BAR.. and DO NOT Trust an address because it shows up in the STATUS BAR. Trust ONLY the address in the VISIBLE address bar.

Finally even the address bar should be watch for issues. I have seen Some sites that when you click on the link they do some funky things to "Adjust" your address bar. If you go to the site and you see some quick, shall I say funky, resizing and adjusting of your window, be suspicious.

Moral of the stroy is, be suspicious of everyone. If it doesn't feel right to you, then don't do it until you are completely satisfied that it is legit. Most people looking to do Honest business via the internet will understand, especially in this day and age of huge amounts of internet scamms. Again, it's not much of a deal if you lose your money AND your merchandise. At least if you pass up the deal you still have exactly what you started the deal with. Your money in YOUR pocket and perhaps YOUR merchandise at YOUR house

Good luck and let us know what happens.
