I think you are right... I think it's a scam.

Looking further at the whois:

So as blub points out the CREATION DATE is 18-May-2005, just over a month ago, but also the site claims to be based in the United Kingdom,

but as you can see in the WHOIS info above... They are registered in Washington State? Not impossible, but for a company that was FOUNDED in the UK and "grown into 16 town in England , 12 in Irland and 127 in all world." (yes... that is how THEY spelled Ireland), I find it highly unlikely that they would register their domain in Washington State.

And for a site that claims their specialty as "DELIVERY" why would they be partners with UPS and FEDEX (wouldn't they be competition?) Also I noticed as I logged in to create a NEW TRANSACTION, that it looked an awful lot like an ESCROW site. I don't recall UPS or FEDEX doing escrow.. why would this site? In fact I didn't see ANYTHING at all about ESCROW on thier "SERVICES" page http://www.compdeship.com/services.php .

After looking at as many fraudulent sites as I have... You kind of get a 6th sense about them.. and indeed, this one just smells of fraud. I have added it to the list of fraudulent sites http://escrow-fraud.pgardner.net/?page=reported and added the image to the gallery (under the MISC) http://escrow-fraud.pgardner.net/images/sites/Layout99

after me asking for a get together (it said the car would be in my hometown in Germany)

-Dear Sir,
Actualy I am in London, United Kingdom. The car is in great shape, without any accidents. It comes with all the papers. I will close this deal via an escrow services. When I speack abouth the escrow service i want to tell you about their services. I have a contract with them for 3 years. first thing that you will have to do is to create an account on their web site and to place the auction there. After that they will email you an bank account where to whire the money. I will shipp the package to you, and you have 10-30 days to inspect it and if you will tell them that everything is OK with the unit they will pay me. Their services will protect the buyer and the seller. They will keep your money safe. I will wait your reply a.s.a.p.
Best Regards!
