http://www.freightauto.com/ is it a scam???

I have been emailing this guy about buying his motorcycle, but the problem is that its in Nebraska... So the guy got deployed to England and he is selling in this 600rr, but the transaction is through http://www.freightauto.com/. You have to send them half of the money, then the ship the bike to you, then you try for 7 days it to make sure that its ok. After that you have to send the rest of the money then you will get the title.....

Is this a scam?????

This Below is what I got from someone who is trying to sell a Quad. It is listed in the BuySell.com in Edmonton Canada. I asked him in an e-mail why he listed in Edmonton and this is his answer below. He is selling way too cheap and also is going to pay shipping.
He also has been transfered to a job in the UK and "must sell" his Quad a 2001 Yamaha Kodiak.
I almost fell for it until I checked this site, thanks.

Have you received an email from freightauto.net regarding transaction invoice? It is attached to this email, read it. You have to go to a local western union office and send the money to their official receiver, which is:

I hope you won't mind if I am asking you this, but could you split the payment in two parts of $1500, send them to their official receiver and could you please tell to western union that you are sending the money to a friend? This way I won't pay some taxes, however I will pay some of them after the whole process is completed.

After Western Union will confirm the payments, send the scanned copies of both western union receipts as attachment to payments@freightauto.net or update the payment info by clicking on the PAY button found on the invoice email.
