http://translogistics.t35.com Scam or not?

Postby Yuennie » Fri Mar 05, 2010 7:44 pm

Hello,

I'm from the Netherlands and found a car for a really low price online and therefore contacted the owner. We only had email contact. He says he works in the UK and the car is also there. But if I want the car, he will pay for all the fees of the transport of the car to the Netherlands. I only have to pay for the car...

Now I have to pay 4000 euros to the shipping company before they release the car and so I don't trust it.

The website is: http://translogistics.t35.com

Can you please tell me if this website / company can be trusted?

The site is fake; and so is the "seller" of the car. He isn't in the UK, he's probably sitting in some Internet cafe in Romania.

I've added the site to the database and sent a report to the hoster. From my previous experiences it should be gone within the next 24 hours.

Please have a look at http://escrow-fraud.com/index.php?page= ... layout=150 - those sites used the same design.

Iwona:

there is no company; it's just a website operated by the "seller" himself (or more precisely: the gang he works for). Your "seller" is a scammer.

Please have a look here:

http://escrow-fraud.com/index.php?page= ... &layout=31

As you can see we have over 350 identical sites in the database. This infamous "blue layout" is one of the most commonly used designs.

Once again: There is no car; and once you send the money it is gone.

Hi there,

I would like to report another look alike scam. This was concerning an Audi A3 sport (on PistonHeads.com) sold by an English woman who has moved to Italy...
the scammer's email address is: boll2008betty@hotmail.com (used the name of Beatrice Bollati)
the shipping company: - WEBSITE: www.brzspedition.t35.com or http://Brzspedition.t35.com - E-MAIL : info@brz-express.com
And of course, they asked for a moneygram transfer to start the shipment of the car....pfffff

Thanks for the detailed information. I've added the site to our database; and work has already started to kill the fake site.

Hello,

I'm from The Netherlands too and I think I can report the same scammer as Yuennie. I got the same story and offer; very nice car for ridiculously low price and the offer was to send it from the UK, where the car as well as the seller supposedly are located. Deposit would be needed in order to get the car to The Netherlands. Because every word tasted like a scam, I tried to get as much information as possible.

Shipping company: Translogistics
Website: http://www.translogistics.net
E-mail: translogistics@contactoffice.net
Name of seller: Alain Duarte
E-mail of seller: duartealain@hotmail.com
(he also gave me his phone number but I don't think it would be right to put it here)

The car that was offered is a Peugeot 207 CC Feline 1.6-16V VTI (2007) for only € 4.400,00. After checking the licenseplate online, I found out that it had changed owners only 2 days before I found the advert on the internet. Also, the advert (which was placed on at least 2 different websites) was removed on the same day I received a reply to my request for information. Good indications of a scam, I guess...

Hope this helps, but please let me know if you need more information.

Kind regards,

Mel
