yes, it sure sounds like a fake.

HOWEVER:

I don't think that http://www.translogistics.net/ is actually involved here. As you can see the email address used has nothing to do with it. When I look at the registration data for http://www.translogistics.net/ I don't see any suspicious signs; and the site itself looks very different compared to our "usual suspects". Most important it doesn't even cclaim to be a shipping/escrow site.

So I currently believe that the scammer will want you to believe the mails come from this company when in reality they come from someone completely unrelated.
