The site is just over a month old. They use YAHOO! as their hosting agent (which in itself is not really suspicious, but I have seen too many fraudsters go this route.)

Also I did a GOOGLE Search for wholesale-brands ( http://www.google.com/search?q=wholesale-Brands )
and One of the top three hits was an eBay group claiming it's a fraud.

What I also find noticibly absent are hits in favor (positive) for this site. In this case NO NEWS (positive wise) is NOT GOOD NEWS.

Then I placed an order... (ok, I really don't intend on ordering anything, but I need to see how the site works.) I found that I have to order $1500.00 worth of suff. ------ That was an alert to me. They want to scam as much as they can. ----- Anyway, they claim on their "NEWS" http://www.wholesale-brands.net/index.php?aux_page=aux2 on 26.11.2003 (hmmm.... Weren't they just registered a month ago?) that credit cards now accepted with 2checkout.com , but when I go to check out, I have to provide Name, address, and telephone Number (ok.. that's normal enough), but when I submit it (thinking I will get another page for payment), I am presented with .... "Someone will contact you... blah blah blah.

As I looked further and realized that this site is based in Italy, I find it also interesting the that the prices are listed in Dollars - as in US DOLLARS. Interesting since I made no international selection as to my monetary denomination, and Last I new Italy was using the Euro.

So the more I look, the more I would say it's a fraud and I would avoid them.

Hope this helps. Keep us posted as to any updates.

Yes sir.

I perfectly agree your analyze.
And I discover that is impossible an italy web site use Enlish for default . Not ITALY language. I had contact that sales many times and below is our discussion in email.

Alright. Come back in a year then and we will talk more then. By the way, we sold the old domain name we were using http://www.wholesalebrands.com to Amazon. They were interested due to our many visitors / month. I don't think we'll sell this one too but you can never know.

We use WU to receive payments because we check payment online very fast and ship same day. The receiver is me or our sales manager usually.

OK,

I also hope your site isn't fake or scam.

Because your site create about 1 month only, I find that many scam site

will not stable more than half year. They will shut down or the master

got detain.

If I visit your site on next year and also no any bad effect, I will be

more confidence on yours.

May I ask a question, if pay you by western union, what is the detail ?

I already told you. Our competition is behind these fake sites. They are trying to discreditate us.

I am sorry but I don't have the time to meet your request not to mention that is a very weird one.

If you don't want to deal with us just say so. We have alot of regular customers and there are alot of suppliers it's not necessary that you buy from us.
