EU-Connect (Escrow or not) ?

Postby MisterDrako » Wed May 15, 2013 3:01 pm

Hello,
I'm Patrick and I'm French.
(I apologize for not speaking English I translate with Google, sorry ...)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is many years of purchases made on the Internet
but I used for the 1st time a company escrow (EU-Connect)

--> http://www.eu-connect.co.uk

for a transaction with a customer in Ireland.

My transaction deals and € 1,300.00 for a musical instrument.

The funds were sent on April 30 to be transferred to an account
at the Ulster Bank but are still not arrived in Ireland since ...

I find it long and abnormal ...

I have to search with my bank ...

Do you know this company (EU-Connect) ...?

Thank you for your help ...

Hello,

I'm sorry to say this but the site is fake. The 1300 EUR are probably already gone.

Please get in touch with your bank immediately so they can inform the receiver bank about the situation. But I suspect the money will already have been withdrawn.

Please post name and address of the alleged "seller".

There are certain tell-tale phrases that have been used before. Since the site/domain was registered just in late March and those other sites had been registered earlier it should be clear that eu-connect.co.uk is also fake.

See http://www.eu-connect.co.uk/about.php

Our founder, Mark Lavadjian, realised this himself while selling products to global customers.

Now, search for "Mark Lavadjian" (including the quotes); this leads among other things to

http://www.bromptonforum.net/t5637p20-annonce-suspecte

I don't speak French but it seems that the people posting in that forum came to very similar conclusions (somewhere in the middle of the page they are even talking about musical instruments).

the funds were paid to the ULSTER BANK

obviously a fake name, but if it can be useful to someone ....

he appeared on EU-Connect as the sales manager ...

My bank is continuing this investigations ...

To be continued ....
