HELP - http://www.wwd-trans.com/index.php

Postby santoryu3 » Thu Nov 12, 2015 1:32 pm

Hello everyone,

As far as I'm concerned this web-site is considered not safe - http://www.wwd-trans.com/index.php
They offered me to make a transaction by using ESCROW...

Can anyone respond please?

Hello;

it's indeed fake. Please post a few more details (nature of the deal, name and email address the scammer is using and so on).

well... I was looking for a car on http://www.autoscout24.com, which in my opinion seems to be a trustworthy site. and i found a seller there who then said that has a business in UK but is selling cars all over Europe. So when I asked him to give me his phone number, he said that he would like to communicate via emails only (which is suspicious).

Then he told me that after I make a transaction, he will send the car to my place without any additional charges (another suspicious thing to say, because it should vary for objective reasons).

His email is -

BAC AUTO <bacauto74@gmail.com>
Edward Cullinan
BAC AUTO France | 8 Rue du Faubourg Poissonniere | 75010 Paris | France
General Manager : Sarbjit Singh | RCS Paris 483 745 592

I hope this helps other potential buyers too.

Thank you for your quick reply!

Thanks for the additional information.

autoscout24.com is legit but not all ads found there are (autoscout24.com is just the platform). You are of course right about all the things that sound suspicious. Naturally the scammer does not want to talk on the phone because his english is probably extremely bad (a couple of years ago the scammers always sent the same mails regardless what you were asking them).

The layout/design of the fake site is known from previous cases:

http://escrow-fraud.com/index.php?page= ... layout=261

I've added the site to our database now.
