B.I.T Enterga escrow fraud

Postby nenjii » Tue Oct 11, 2011 7:11 pm

Hello, good people.

I think I just encountered yet another escrow fraud http://www.bit-entrega.es. I found a very good car deal on http://www.mobile.de the price was.. well should say.. too good to be truth? :) Perhaps I was too happy to suspect anything, so I went on and contacted the seller. I told him that I was interested in his offer and that my friend is about to go to Germany and he could pick the car and pay for it in person. Here is the mail I got:

from: wertmaill77@gmail.com

Hello again
Thanks for your reply!
The car is in very good running condition, no damages, accidents or scratches no need repairs of course,it is in perfect condition inside and outside , as well the condition of the engine is perfect. I never smoke in it and I want to sell it to a serious person who will take very good care of the car.
First I must tell you that I am located in Palma, Spain and the car is here with me. I hope this is not a problem!I worked in Germany for two years and I've bought it from there. The car has german papers and this is the reason that someone advice me to sell it in Germany because It will be easier.
If you want the car you can come here to take it or, if you can't come I would like to use a shipping company for this deal. The process is very easy. This company will handle the delivery of the car and also they will handle all the registration papers. If we will use it you will have 5 days for testing the car before deciding to buy it. They will also give me the payment after you will decide to keep the car.
I will pay the delivery of the car! The delivery time will be around 3-4 days and the car will be delivered at your home address. In this time you will receive the tracking number of the transaction so you can use it to check the status on the company website. If you want, the company will help you with all the registration papers in your country!

In the end, he insisted to use B.I.T Enterga company (http://www.bit-entrega.es). Naturally, when I'm being asked to pay by unknown company, first thing I want to know is who the hell I'm paying to. I tried to look for information, customer opinions online and I couldn't find ANYTHING even if they say in their website that they are "the most trusted escrow service on the Internet".. riiiight...

Then I found you guys, read some stories and all became clear. Similar mail, unknown company, cheap website, unreasonably good car price.

So I wanted to contribute to this forum by telling my story and thank you!

Hi,

thanks for telling us your story. We are glad that you didn't fall for the scam.

I've added the site to our database; and in the meantime the web hoster has already pulled the plug.
