Is Enko Express real?

Postby Edishka » Fri Mar 06, 2015 9:13 pm

Hi, everybody.
Please, I would appreciate if you help me with this: I am about to buy an expensive lens for 800 dollars and my seller has secured the services of http://enko-express.com/

They are asking for a transfer via Western Union to the order of their agent, VASILE GHINEA, at 38 Oldham Road, Manchester Código postal M4 5FE, UK D.N.I. B-165128921.

The Emko website seems serious, but I am not quite convinced —nobody links to them. Their physical address, on the other hand, appears in Google, but for a furniture business. When I contacted the furniture business the system told me that the number I dialed is disconnected. Therefore, Emko could actually be there. However, I have no way to confirm it.

Something is telling me "abstain from doing this." Am I right?

Regards,
Edishka

Yes, you are.
It looks like you did some checking on your own first. Good for you!

The site is definitely fake; it belongs to this series:

http://escrow-fraud.com/index.php?page= ... layout=299

I'll add the site to our database and hopefully it will be killed shortly.
Please tell us more about the deal (where you found the lens, email address of the "seller" and so on) so that other people searching for this might find it.

(I'll also move the whole thread to the "escrow fraud" subforum.)
