Hi from Sdev.
I was defrauded through an escrow fraud site too.
But SURE will not happen anymore! I will not buy anymore on internet.
I have understood: only with sure persons and hand-to-hand.

Thanks to the admin of this site for a great site!

I saw it unfortunately after to have sent money via WU...

However, our sons are mostly important thing, not money!

Bye

Hi !
I had write to http://www.alibaba.com to explaint that they are fraud member on their site, after to day i receive this email :

Dear Duong,

Thanks for your email.

This is Susan Xu from Service Team of Alibaba.com.

I have disabled the account of this company at our site.

According to most fraud cases, most of the products are electrical
commodities, such as mobiles, laptops, digital cameras, plasma TVs,
etc. The suspicious sellers will offer very low prices, and ask the
buyer to pay via wire transfer such as Western Union. After a buyer
sends funds, the receiver breaks contact and party disappears. You
cannot trace the real name of an account holder.

We would recommend that you report this matter to your local law
enforcement authorities as soon as possible. If you would like Alibaba
to cooperate in the investigation, you should provide us with the
following information:

a.. your full legal name, residential address and country of issuance of
passport and passport number;
b.. case reference no. and police or other law enforcement unit where the
case was reported;
c.. amount of monetary damages;

After you have reported the fraud to the appropriate police authorities,
we will forward information regarding this case to the appropriate authorities
upon their request.

Sincerely Yours,
Susan Xu
Int'l Service Team

Although I don't always have the time to do so, I would recommend contacting their web host provider (available by the WHOIS info) and make them aware of the fraudulant sites.

I generally refer them to this site (providing specific links) and the articles in question to validate that the site is a fraud. Additionally, as they will generally find out, the scammers typically pay for these sites by using a stolen credit card which will come back to haunt the Web Host provider. So it's in their interest to stop them as well.

Finally, and particularly in the case of global-spedition.com, I would refer them to my graphics page http://escrow-fraud..com/images/sites/Layout2/ so that they can see how many times the site layout has been used under different names.

Good luck, and of course, we would love to hear back on the results.

Paul

I Just became a victim

Postby dollieandtommy » Sat Jul 02, 2005 5:57 pm

: Hello, I just made a transaction on ebay with a man from Spain... I sent him a very expensive ring, he put the money in an escrow account and here I sit waiting for my money which I know now I am not gonna receive. I had never sold anything before and since the amount of money involved I thought the escrow service would be a good way to handle it, well guess I was so wrong there :cry: .. Now I need to know how to file a complaint and report it... The escrow service we used was called triple-sol.com which by the way I can't bring the site up says under repairs and they have not answered one of my emails that I sent to the support section they said to send all questions to.. I feel so stupid and violated...

What was the item?
Did you list it on eBay?
What was the scammer's e-mail addy?
Where did you ship your item to?
No one will be able to help you with the limited information you posted.
Contact your local police dept and file a report.
Also file a report at the
IFCCFBI.GOV web site.

Hi from Sdev...
I (and we) know how you feel... I was defrauded too.
No support section on the escrow website exists...
No support e-mail address is real...
No person is real on these escrow fraudolent website...
The only real thing are few criminals without a real identity...
Don't worry, report a IFCC complaint and make experience cause this...
Best Regards
